Privacy and optional parent analytics

Public resource quizzes run in your browser. Answers are not sent to marketing analytics or saved to a learner profile. The separate sample portal stores preview progress on your device.

Guardian-owned accounts

Supabase handles adult authentication. Real learner profiles require separate guardian verification and purpose-specific consent. Social access remains disabled. Account and family data are protected by server-side authorization and Row Level Security.

Optional analytics is currently off

No GA4 property is configured in this implementation. If an owner later enables the reviewed integration, Google Analytics can load only after a signed-in, guardian-verified parent opts in, and only on the homepage, parent resources, teacher resources and blog index. There are no analytics tags on learner activities or private routes. Advertising personalization and remarketing must remain off.

Minimized measurement

The optional integration sends fixed page paths and permitted event names, never URL queries, learner names, email addresses, profile IDs or answers. Parent-account milestones can be counted in first-party daily totals visible only to authorized administrators. Counts represent events, not unique people.

Your choices

When optional parent analytics is enabled, its controls let you decline or withdraw consent. Consent is tab-scoped. This page describes the implemented design; a complete legal privacy notice, retention schedule and applicable child-data review are still required before wider release.
